Hello! I am the School Counselor at Blowing Rock School. I work to support students in grades K-8 through classroom guidance, small group and individual counseling. I enjoy being a part of the team at BRS, helping students navigate their personal journeys. I am looking forward to a great school year!
The Mission of the Blowing Rock School Counseling Program is to provide a quantifiable, comprehensive, developmental counseling curriculum, addressing the individual academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. In a global environment, we expect all students to be productive members of the community, and to that end, the Blowing Rock School Counseling program will identify and remediate barriers to learning, thereby creating success for all students.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Individual counseling is available to all students to discuss academic, personal, and social issues. School counseling is not therapy but rather brief, short-term support for a student during a crisis situation, immediate personal concern, or problem that may be affecting their achievement and focus in school.
